RESUME AND ART SHOWS
Debbie Manville (AKA Miss Dabree) was born in North Plainfield, NJ. Miss Manville works at many mediums to get across abstract and strangely beautiful work. She has never felt that art should stop due to lack of inspiration with one medium. Thus, she tends to adopt a new or readapt to a former art form for catharsis.
Miss Manville studied Film and Painting at Rowan University and Interior Design at New York University. Having art shows primarily with paintings since 1995, she has changed her view and techniques working between biological scenes, graffiti symbols, harsh and soft color, abstract and realistic, line forms and text as an object. She has had a solo show in NYC at Avalon (old Limelight), had fourteen shows in the past two years traveling with NJ's Big Art Show, Albus Cavus and Dutchman scenes and has been lucky enough to have approved photos into Merriam- Websters' Online Dictionary.
(Fun fact: Miss Manville was the person to suggest the colors for her high school in Old Bridge est. 1994 which were nominated for first choice school-wide and approved: purple, black and white.)
Miss Manville has very brittle nails from her rare intake of dairy and loves dogs and gardening. After doing two portrait shows, one in NJ and one in NY, She is working on a new set of abstacts.
